Meet Eddie!
Eddie strolled into the shelter with his longtime buddy Penny by his side (they’re a sweet pair who’ve always had each other’s backs). They’ve since been separated in the kennels and have handled it like champs, so they do NOT need to be adopted together… but they absolutely light up when they get to play together! If you happen to be looking for two dogs, they’d be over-the-moon thrilled to keep their friendship going. If you’re looking for just one, Eddie is 100% ready to be your one-and-only.  

This guy is the perfect blend of playful and chill. He loves a good zoomie session or a game of fetch, but in a mature, “I’m an adult but I’ve still got it” kind of way. No puppy craziness here—just a smart, engaged boy who lives for fun on his own terms.  

Eddie is wicked smart (classic shepherd brain!) and incredibly affectionate. Once he decides you’re his person (which happens in about 3.2 seconds), he becomes the ultimate Velcro dog. He’ll follow you from room to room, lean in for pets, rest his head on your lap, and give you that classic shepherd side-eye that says, “I love you, feed me treats, and never leave me.”  

Eddie knows basic commands, walks nicely on leash and is just waiting for a calm, loving home where he can be your loyal shadow. He’s past the wild puppy stage but still has plenty of happy years ahead to be your best friend.
