Meet Zee – A Stunning Black Beauty with a Heart Waiting to Bloom

Zee is a breathtaking 1.5-year-old medium-hair black pantherette with the silkiest coat you’ve ever seen and huge golden eyes that quietly take in everything. She’s the definition of “mystery wrapped in velvet.”

Right now, Zee is still learning that the world can be kind. She spent her early life with very little human contact, so people are still big, loud, and terrifying to her. But don’t mistake her shyness for unhappiness—she is endlessly curious. She loves to perch in a high cubby or behind a curtain and watch the action like it’s her own private nature documentary. Other cats fascinate her; she’ll spend hours silently observing them with wide-eyed interest.

**Current comfort levels:**
- Petting: Not yet. Touch is still way too scary.
- Picking up: Absolutely not (she will become liquid cat and disappear).
- Treats & toys: She’s starting to peek out for Churu and the occasional wand toy flirt — progress!
- Other cats: Unknown in a home setting, but she is very intrigued by them and has never shown aggression. She might actually blossom with a confident, gentle feline friend.

Zee is looking for that rare, magical person (or family) who understands “slow” and is willing to let her set the pace. She needs a calm, adult-only or quiet household with plenty of safe hiding spots, high places to survey her kingdom, and zero pressure. The kind of home where blinking slowly at her from across the room feels like a victory.

One day (maybe weeks, maybe months from now), this little shadow will choose you. She’ll creep out at 2 a.m. for a sniff of your hand. Then a head bump. Then she’ll sleep on your pillow and you’ll realize you’ve been adopted by the most elegant void the world has ever seen.
