Meet Penne & Orzo – Bonded Brothers Looking for One Very Patient Heart

These two gorgeous boys are littermates (and brothers to little Ziti) who have decided the world is big, loud, and scary… but at least they have each other. They are 100% bonded and must be adopted together.

**Penne** – flame-point Siamese mix, sky-blue eyes, velvet ears  
The slightly braver noodle. He’s usually the one you’ll spot peeking out of the cubby first, ears forward, tail puffed, trying to decide if you’re friend or foe. He doesn’t trust hands yet, but he watches every move with intense curiosity—like he’s taking notes for the day he finally decides humans might be okay.

**Orzo** – crisp black-and-white meow with boots and mittens  
The official hisser of the pair. When he feels overwhelmed he lets out the tiniest, most polite little “pssst!” (more warning than threat). He spends most of his time loafed behind Penne, but once the room is quiet he turns into a playful, bouncy kitten who wrestles his brother like it’s the Olympics.

**Current trust levels (they’re still in the quiet back room):**
- Petting: Not yet — both will politely retreat or give air-bites as a “please don’t”
- Picking up: Nope — they turn into liquid and disappear
- Play: YES! Wand toys under the door or a laser they can chase together brings out happy zoomies
- Other cats: They adore each other and have only ever known sibling life. We believe a super confident, gentle resident cat could help them learn that people = good things, but they’ll also be perfectly happy staying a closed duo.

Penne & Orzo are the definition of “feral-ish kittens who just need time.” They need a calm, adult-only home with a dedicated safe room for the first 2–4 weeks (or longer), no forced interaction, and someone who understands that slow-blinks and Churu licks are major milestones. One day — maybe in a month, maybe in three — Penne will creep out at 2 a.m. for a sniff. Orzo will stop hissing. Then suddenly you’ll have a flame-point prince purring on your chest and a tuxedo biscuit-maker on your pillow.

Bonded brothers — must go together. If your heart has room for two shy little pastas who will love you forever once they believe you’re safe, Penne & Orzo can’t wait to prove that patience tastes like the sweetest victory purrs you’ve ever heard.
